It was a 2005 Jamis Satellite, 24 speed bike.  The frame was a Reynolds 520 double-butted chromoly main tubes, double tapered curved cromo stays.  It was either a 55 or 57 cm. as I'm a relatively tall girl.   The Satellite written on it is written in white, over a black section, while the lighter sections are actually silver.  The fork on it was replaced, so it's not the original fork.  It's color is slightly different than the frame with a grayish black tint (textured shin y look rather than a smooth finish) (carbon fiber fork).
